DESCRIPTION OF POINTTEAMS

Waypoint has chosen to be a church based on small groups, for several reasons:

• This is our direction from the Lord
• It seems to be what the Holy Spirit is doing around the world
• Our culture is virtually unreached and has no desire to go to church
• Groups are discipleship intensive
• We believe it is the best way to care for people
• We believe it is the best way to empower people
•  It is the New Testament model

A PointTeam is a group of people who are committed to each other, and who come together on a regular basis for the purpose of living life up, in, and out, and experiencing the 5 core practices.
